What do we do?
We help with the development and delivery of the GP practice services, including;
- Contributing to GP Practice decisions
- Providing the patient perspective on the range and quality of services
- Contributing to the Dockham Surgery website, social media, posters and leaflets.
- Supporting and building a two-way relationship between patients and Dockham Surgery
- Promoting the needs of the community within Dockham Surgery
- Sharing news of the work of Dockham Surgery and PPG with the community
Who Can Join the PPG?
Any registered patient of Dockham Surgery over the age of 18 may become a member of the PPG. Our PPG aims to include various ages, experiences, backgrounds and a variety of views.
Who represents Dockham Surgery?
A senior representative of the Surgery team will attend all meetings. Other members of the surgery team may attend from time to time.
How often does the PPG meet?
We meet three times a year. We aim to have face to face meetings, but when that is not possible, a video call will be arranged.
Are you Interested ?
All registered patients are able to join our Patient Participation Group. People of all genders, ages, ethnicities, and those with health conditions and disabilities are encouraged to join.
Members should as far as possible, be representative of the surgery population.
