Chaperones

All patients are entitled to have a chaperone present for any consultation. The chaperone may be a family member or friend. If preferred, a formal chaperone from the surgery can be present for your consultation.

We ask where possible, that you request this when you book your appointment so arrangements can be made in advance.

There may be occasions when the clinician requests a chaperone, in line with our Chaperone Policy.

If you would like to see a copy of our Chaperone Policy, please contact the surgery.
