You can now access your test results online. 

We advise our patients to call the surgery after 10.30 to obtain your test results.  This is because the phones are less busy and we can deal with your request more promptly.

We will only contact you if we have concerns with your test results that we take or request for you.  If we are unable to speak to you on the phone, we will ask you to contact us about the result.

We do find sometimes that results that may be labelled “abnormal” are actually nothing to worry about and in these instances we may not contact our patients.

Blood and urine test results normally take 3-4 working days before they are received by us.

X-rays and scan results normally take at least 5 working days before they are received.

To ensure confidentiality, we can only release this information to the patient (or parent / guardian), unless prior approval has been given in writing.
