Dr I Odofin, female
Qualifications: BSc (Hons.) MBChB, DRCOG, MRCGP, MRCP(London)
Dr Odofin joined the practice as a partner in 2021. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Ghana in 2009 and completed her General Practice training in Gloucestershire in 2019. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and a Member of the Royal College of Physicians.
She has extensive clinical experience in Tropical Medicine, as well as Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine, gained through work in the UK and overseas. Dr Odofin has worked in inner-city general practice and has contributed to healthcare leadership through representation of medical colleagues on several boards.
Her clinical interests include Geriatric Medicine and Cardiovascular Risk Medicine. She is also a medical educator, contributing to the training and development of healthcare professionals.
Dr J Morrison, female
Joined the practice in the summer, 2017. After completing her medical training at the University of Manchester in 2010 and completing her vocational rotations at various locations around Gloucestershire, Dr Morrison joined Dockham Surgery as a newly qualified part-time GP in the summer of 2017. Outside of work, Dr Morrison enjoys travelling and reading.
Dr O Arowosegbe, male
Qualifications: MBBS, MRCGP
Dr Arowosegbe joined the practice in November 2023. He completed his medical training at the Lagos State University in 2010. He worked a few years in Nigeria, gaining experience with various health populations and especially loved working with children. He completed his GP training in Gloucestershire and has worked in a semi-rural practice within the county. Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his family.
Dr Laura Todd, female
Qualifications: MBChB MRCGP
Qualified from Glasgow University and completed GP training in Hampshire before working overseas in the humanitarian sector. Gained experience in UK rural general practice in the Lake District before a 10 year stint working in a Bristol inner city practice. A country person at heart, she’s happy to have moved, with her family, to the area. Thinks that continuity of care and shared decision making leads to good patient care.

Dr Ilona Zakare
GP in Lithuania from 2001 to 2019, International GP Trainee in UK 2019 to 2021, Salaried GP at Redgate Medical Centre and Emerson’s Green surgeries until February 2024, Salaried GP at Redgate Medical Centre in Bridgewater from May 2024 to present. Dr Zakare has speciality experience in Dermatology, gynaecological examinations with specialised knowledge in Mental Health.
We have enlisted temporarily GPs to assist with demand until we can employ a more permanent member to the team – Dr Hannah Clarke (until Jan 26), Dr Gerald Okafor and Dr Joseph Onah.
