Our practice has a lead nurse, Katie, together with two practice nurses Jo and Hannah. We also have one fully qualified healthcare assistant Johdi.
Practice nurses
Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with issues such as contraception, healthy living advice, cytology, blood pressure checks and dressings. They also check patients’ hearts with ECG equipment and review lung function using spirometry machines.
The practice nurses run clinics for long-term conditions such as asthma, diabetes, stroke, heart and kidney disease. They undertake all of our vaccinations including our annual flu clinics.
